24th November 2021 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F3/F4 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 9 Sea Temperature: 11.4 Weather: Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: After loads of tips on pumping in lighter winds went much better today. Got up more, though still need to improve the transition to flying but not too worried about that and that was getting better. Very pleased with last flight as felt like I got up in 10 knots and flew with a bit of foot pumping in 6-8knots. Main improvement came from flying more overhead. Slow pumps to build some speed first, and maybe increasing kite pressure to 9psi max. Moved hands on handles to go downwind a bit after seeing John motoring too far upwind. Now shift feet more. Felt like it came together today, well pleased. As packing up drizzle came ahead of cold, strong northerlies so probably not out a until next week. |
